Trivandrum: Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, flagged off the inaugural services of the three new Amrit Bharat Express trains at a public function held in Thiruvananthapuram. The details of the regular services of these trains are detailed below:
1. Train No. 16121/16122 Tambaram – Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tambaram Amrit Bharat (Weekly) Express
The regular service of Train No.16121 Tambaram – Thiruvananthapuram Central Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will depart from Tambaram at 17.00 hrs on Wednesdays from 28th January 2026 and reach Thiruvananthapuram
Central at 08.00 hrs the next day.
Train No.16122 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tambaram Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10.40 hrs on Thursdays from 29th January 2026 and reach Tambaram at 23.45 hrs the same day.
2. Train No. 17041/17042 Charlapalli – Thiruvananthapuram North – Charlapalli Amrit Bharat (Weekly) Express
The regular service of Train No.17041 Charlapalli – Thiruvananthapuram North Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will depart from Charlapalli at 07.15 hrs on Tuesdays from 27th January 2026 and reach Thiruvananthapuram North at 14.45 hrs the next day.
Train No.17042 Thiruvananthapuram North – Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 17.30 hrs on Wednesdays from 28th January 2026 and reach Charlapalli at 23.30 hrs the next day.
3. Train No. 16329/16330 Nagercoil Jn. – Mangaluru Jn. – Nagercoil Jn. Amrit Bharat (Weekly) Express
The regular service of Train No.16329 Nagercoil Jn – Mangaluru Jn Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will depart from Nagercoil Jn at 11.40 hrs on Tuesdays from 27th January 2026 and reach Mangaluru Jn North at 05.00 hrs the next day.
Train No.16330 Mangaluru Jn.- Nagercoil Jn. Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 08.00 hrs on Wednesdays from 28th January 2026 and reach Nagercoil Jn. at 22.05 hrs the same day.
Composition of the above Amrit Bharat Train services: 8 – Sleeper Class Coaches, 11 – General Second Class coaches, 2- General Second Class (Divyangjan-friendly), 1- Pantry Car
